I took this video about two months ago, and just came across it on my old camera. You know the video is old, because Asher is sitting still on a blanket. There is no more sitting still. I just can't get enough of his laugh...

First Communion
Yesterday, we celebrated the First Communion of my niece Eryn.
She did such a great job in church, and she looked so beautiful!

Annual Easter photo
We planted this tree in our front yard Easter weekend 2008. It has been tradition to take a picture in front of the tree every year since.
This year, there was an addition...who doesn't sit still...and likes to eat dandelions...
9 months old
I'm a little behind in posting, but Asher turned 9 months old on the 5th. I can't believe the changes we've seen this month!
- Asher continues to be a good sleeper. He usually goes down for bed between 7-7:30. He usually wakes around 6.
- Napping usually consists of 30-45 min. naps. Asher does not like to be cuddled to fall asleep. Just lay him down in his bed.
- Asher totally skipped baby food and moved full speed ahead to table food. He likes feeding himself and is a bottomless pit. So far he likes everything from avocados to black olives to peaches. Loves it all.
Happy Easter!
On Easter Sunday, we headed to my sister and brother-in-laws house in Cedar Falls. Jer was on call and needed to stick close to home, so I made the trek with the boys. Here are a few pics to highlight our day.

Easter Egg Hunt
This morning we went to Calmar for an Easter Egg hunt. Here we found cousins Eryn and Nolan ready for a hunt as well!
As you can see, it wasn't as much of a hunt as it was a scramble. That's right, an egg scramble!
Landon had a good time and was excited to get a couple treats.

Mole bite
When I was giving Landon his bath tonight, he points out a little dot on his chest and said he had another (didn't know he had one) mosquito bite. I said it wasn't a mosquito bite, it was a mole. I pointed out a mole I had on my forearm as well. A little while later, Landon goes up to Jeremy and said, "Dad, I got bad news. I got a mole bite." Can you see where the mole bit him?!

Oh $h*t
Despite living in the country, we don't really deal with a lot of manure. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen them spread it on our fields. That's why I was a little stumped when I came down our driveway and saw this...
And then I remembered Jer talking with our friend David about spreading down some organic compost/manure onto our garden.
That's right, we are taking this gardening thing seriously. The seeds are doing their thing in the green house, and we got some seriously good stuff working it's magic on the ground. Over kill? Maybe...
Big bro taking it in...

Birds nests
Today, Landon and I made some birds nests. They were so super easy and Landon says they are super yummy. I found the recipe here.
