Landon's Birthday Party

My baby is going to turn four this week, so we celebrated this weekend with a party!
It started off kind of rough - despite my best efforts to wake Landon up, he was still napping when everyone started to arrive. (It had only been a 3 hour nap)
Daddy was able to get Landon up and change him into his birthday clothes.  He was not a happy camper though...
It took a little bit, but he finally came around!  We enjoyed some Lasagna and other goodies and then it was time to open some birthday presents.  Landon got so many wonderful presents from his family.  At one point Landon turned to me and said, "This is exactly what I hoped for."  What a hunny!!

And what's a party without cake?  For weeks, Landon has said he wanted a batman cake.  Auntie Jo Jo and I did our best.
Happy "early" 4th Birthday to my T-Man!

5 months old

Asher is now five months old and changing so much!  First off, his love for eating has not changed much as you can see.  Just look at those cheeks!
Even though he loves to eat, Asher does not seem to be too fond of his baby food.  He does ok with baby cereal, although he would rather just have a bottle.  On his five month birthday, I tried giving Asher some applesauce baby food.  He gagged and pretty much thought that was the worst thing ever!
Asher has discovered what his hands do, and pretty much everything goes in his mouth.  He  has also started reaching out for objects.  The other night I was holding Asher when Jeremy came home from work.  Jeremy held out his hands to Asher, and Asher reached out towards him.  That just melted my heart!
On most nights, Asher is a good little sleeper.  He will sleep 11-12 hours straight through the night. He goes down for bed around 7:30 p.m., and most mornings, I wake him up around 6:30 p.m.

And finally, check out this red hair!  Some days it looks brown, but when you get him in the natural sun light, it totally looks red!

Catch up...

Well, it's deer hunting season, so we're staying in the house and getting a lot done this weekend.
Once again, life continues to remain busy, therefore, my blog has lacked.  That, and Asher threw up on my laptop, so it's a little more inconvenient to hop online.  We've had our fair share of colds lately, and Friday I picked the boys up from daycare early because Landon was running a fever.  Thankfully he never threw up and was back to 100% on Saturday.  Asher has been battling a cold for three weeks, but I think he is finally better.

Now that we are back up to speed, here are a few highlights from Thanksgiving weekend.  We celebrated with my family at our house on Thanksgiving Day.  Since I already put one of our trees up, it was the perfect time to snap some photos.
Asher (almost 5 months old)
Landon took a brief time out to pose for a picture.  Otherwise he was enjoying his time with his cousins Eryn, Nolan and Derek.

 My boys!
The festivities continued through the weekend.  On Saturday afternoon, we went to Jeremy's Mom and celebrated Thanksgiving with them.  We are so thankful for our wonderful families and always enjoy the time we get to spend with them.  Here are a few highlights of our day.

Rolling Over?

Asher is so close to rolling over from his back to his tummy.  It's only a matter of days before he gets it all figured out.
And a quick little video.  As I was getting Asher ready for his bath last night, I thought he was going to do it.  I couldn't be so lucky to have the camera ready to capture a first moment could I?!
