I've got just a couple hours of down time before the festivities begin, so I thought I would share our Christmas card photo as well as some out takes!  Merry Christmas!

{Snow Day}

It was a pretty grim forecast. Blizzard warnings have been posted for about 48 hours.  Along with the 9-12 inches of snow, they were also predicting winds of 40-50 miles an hour.  Below are some of the actual gusts we seen.

Here is a 24 hour time lapse.  The photo on the left was taken at 4 pm on Wednesday.  The photo on the right was taken at 4 pm on Thursday.

In the end, we ended up with a snow day and here are a few of our highlights...

Christmas in Calmar

A few weeks ago, we headed up to Calmar for Christmas in Calmar.  One of our first stops was to see the Mr. and Mrs.'  As you can see, it didn't go so great.  I've only spent the last few months telling Landon not to talk to strangers.  Now, I attempt to put him on this strange guys lap and make him tell him what he wants for Christmas?  Both boys said in a not so subtle manner, that wasn't going to happen!

Kudos to my Dad and everyone else in Calmar who put in a lot of hard work, Christmas in Calmar was a huge success.  By the time we got to Bop (Asher's name for Grandpa), they were already out of Chicken Noodle soup.

There were so many fun things going on that we really only got to experience half of them.  Nevertheless, the boys had a great time after we got a way from the big guy in the red suit.
