Fireman's supper and parade

Last night, we headed to Calmar to attend the soup supper and watch the fire truck parade.  This is the second year they held the parade in honor of fire prevention week.  Here are our photos from last year!  The soup was awesome and the place was packed with people.

Frosty Sunday

They've been saying for days that there was supposed to be frost overnight. All I heard was cover your plants, cover your plants.  Guess what I forgot to do?  Cover my plants!  Oh well, it sure was a beautiful site this morning.

What to do on a cool fall day...

Build a race track out of your movies of course!  (Please don't mind the mis-matched outfit.  He had on a super cute matching sweatshirt, but worked up a sweat building the track.  Layers needed to be shed!)

 When Landon was finished I asked him if he wanted to go get his cars.  He said no, they would mess the track up.  Um, ok?

Enjoying our Sunday afternoon

Today was such a beautiful day outside.  We decided to take advantage of the nice weather and spend most of the afternoon basking in the sun.  I can't believe how big Landon looks in these photos.  And yes, that is still lunch in the corners of his mouth and he is in desperate need of a haircut.  Don't judge.
