We had one very handsome cowboy...
And a very brave fireman...
In true Asher fashion, we know that most everything is done on his terms. His costume was suppose to be superman. He hasn't really been interested in trying it on these past few weeks, so I got him a pumpkin costume. Last night he didn't want anything to do with either of these, so we pulled out the fireman rain coat and he was happy. Gotta love 2 year olds!
We don't usually get too carried away on Halloween, just hit up the usual spots. First Grandma Debbie stopped by for a visit...
Then we swung in at the neighbors...
Stopped at Bernice and Leon's...
And swung in at my Grandparent's house.
It was here that my Grandma gave me a special treat. A few weeks ago I came across some very pretty fall fabric and it was too good of a deal to pass up. So I bought it and gave it to her. That's when she decided to make something with it and give it to me. How sweet is that?! I already have the quilted runner on my kitchen table and it looks perfect! I love it, thanks Grandma!
After leaving my Grandparent's we headed down to trunk or treat outside the Fort Community Center. That was so much fun seeing everyone's trunks decorated up. The boys must have had enough candy at that point because they started passing it up.
After that, we had one more quick stop. Grandma Doris'. The boys had already gotten their Halloween treats from Grandma, but she was eager to hand out a few more.
All of these Halloween festivities led us up to 6:53 p.m., when I had a very tired 5 year old. Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween!
