Fun {in the snow}

This past weekend, we got outside for a little fun in the snow.  My sweet little two-year old who protests snow boots just like underwear (that's a whole 'nother story), finally decided he might try putting on snow pants and boots just to see what this white stuff is all about. 

 As you can tell, he LOVED it!!I see lots more sledding, snowman and snow ball fights in our future.

What else to do on a snowy Saturday night than make a snowman made of marshmallows.

More celebrating {Happy Joe's style}

After plans to have a small family birthday party at our house his past weekend, Landon shared his plans of celebrating at Happy Joe's.  What's a Mom to do but sure, what ever you want birthday boy!

So our family gathered to celebrate another wonderful year in the life of Landon.  We enjoyed mediocre pizza, great company, fun games and more presents.

Surprise! Birthday celebrations {at school}

I surprised Landon on Friday as his school day was coming to a close.  I had emailed Landon's teacher a few days prior to see if it would be ok if I brought some treats in for Landon and his classmates, and she said yes!

I arrived at 2:20 p.m, just as recess outside was coming to a close.  I had just enough time to set up the cupcakes and juice boxes.  In walked the birthday boy with a big smile and a very excited "Mommy!"  I love surprises like this!

After everyone got settled in their chairs, a wonderful rendition of Happy Birthday was sung and my little birthday boy was excited to be the center of attention. Cha, cha, cha...

Turning 6 turned out to be so much fun!!
