Birthday countdown

I told Landon that when it snowed, it was going to be his birthday.  Needless to say, when it snowed two weeks ago, Landon woke up so excited, "It's my Birthday."  Ok, well it's hard for an almost four year old to understand time.  So this past weekend, Landon and I created a birthday countdown.
Each link says what day it is, and how many days until his birthday.  Landon gets to tear off a link every night.  When the links are gone, it's his birthday.  Pretty fun and simple.

Laundry helper

If you read the post below, you know that Landon is still alive.  Now to prove to you that Asher is...Here he is helping me with the laundry yesterday.

Asher has another cold, and really just wanted to be held yesterday.  I had to switch loads, and needed a soft spot to set Asher down.  Needless to say, he really liked it in there.

Hung up axle

So sorry, I know it's time to update the blog.  Everyone has to be sick of checking in and seeing the pictures of the snow on the ground.  Thankfully the snow melted within a day and we've been enjoying some somewhat decent weather.  Enough about the weather though, let's get down to business.

Now that it's dark at 4:30 p.m., we don't get much time outside.  Landon has enjoyed riding his trike inside however.
And he's off...
Landon informed me that his axle was hung up.
I had to ask Jer if that was the axle.  Yes, it is.  I wonder where Landon got that from?!

Ugh...What we woke up to...

I am so NOT ready for this for many reasons besides our patio furniture still sitting out, but Landon IS.  He has had his snow pants and boots on pretty much since he woke up and looked outside.

4 months old

So I'm a few days late, but Asher is now 4 months old.  Where did those 4 months go?  Asher is a healthy *ahem* little guy.  I say little, but he had his 4 month appointment last week and weighed in at 18 pounds 1 ounce!  For weight, Asher clocked in among the 95th percentile.  Asher is 25 inches long, right in the 50th percentile.

So here's what else is happening at 4 months old.  Asher is eating cereal once a day, usually in the evenings.  Asher usually goes down for bed between 7 and 7:30 pm, and wakes between 6 and 6:30 am.  Asher is sleeping in his crib.
Asher is a very, very happy baby, but is starting to get leary of voices he don't know.  Asher is also just starting to realize he has hands.  He loves to grab things, like my necklace, and has a super strong grip!  Asher is also learning what his feet do.  When he is laying on his blanket, he picks up his feet, and kicks them back down.  You would think this would hurt his feet after he repeatedly kicks, but apparently not.
Asher likes tummy time, but so far has no ambition to roll over.  Asher has really good head control, and just started spending some time in his jumperoo.  Sp far he loves it
Happy 4 month birthday Asher.  We all love you very much!
