All the preparations over the past few months, led up to the big day on Saturday, October 1st. My sister Jodi was getting married! Landon, Asher and I headed down to Cedar Falls on Thursday to help Jodi out with any last minute details. It was so nice to be able to spend that time with Mike and Jodi before all the craziness began on Friday.
On Friday, we all went and got our nails done and then went to the rehearsal. That's when reality started to hit. I was an emotional hot mess and needed to get it together! I was/am just so happy for them!
On Saturday, we were up bright and early and headed over the the reception venue to add all the final details.
Jodi made her card box. Too cute.
Instead of a guestbook, they had the guests sign fabric squares and will turn them into a quilt.
Then it was off for makeup and after that was hair.
We all met at the church and it was time to get ready. Oh, she looked so beautiful!
